Design Projects

Ingenium was contracted to Los Alamos National Laboratory for the Criticality Experiments Facility (CEF) providing support for Project, Engineering Support Plans, developing, coordinating and reviewing engineering work. Reviewing and approving engineering drawings and calculations, including field and design documents relating to the discipline.
Ingenium design engineers provide the architectural and engineering services in support of the Los Alamos National Laboratory TA-55 Halon Design Only Project.

Halon Project Scope included develop design to remove existing Halon 1301 fire suppression system from PF-4 Operations Center and PF-3 Rm. 220 and design only package of a new NFPA 2001 clean agent system with new releasing panel or NFPA 75 equivalent level of protection as a replacement for existing Halon fire suppression system.

Work included comprehensive NFPA 2001 compliant design only package (drawings, specs, calculations, test plan) for the removal and replacement of the existing Halon 1301 fire suppression system and Autocall fire alarm panel tie-in.

Ingenium also provided ORNL nuclear design support for a High Flux Irradiation Reactor with support including design calculation, fracture mechanics analysis, and brittle fracture analysis.
Ingenium is contracted by USACE Huntsville Center Utility Monitoring and Control Systems (UMCS) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). Ingenium has supported design upgrades for Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Systems (to include chillers, boilers, air handling units and ductwork systems installation and/or integration), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems, Fire Alarm Systems, life safety control systems, chemical / biological / radiological contaminant detection/filtration, utilities (electric/gas/water) metering and ESS services to Department of Defense and other federal agencies worldwide.
